DR. STEPHANIE YOUNG
Dr. Stephanie Young was born and raised in Revloc where she attended Bishop Carroll High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and then went to medical school at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed residency training in family medicine with Altoona Family Physicians. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Young began working for Mainline Medical Associates immediately upon completing her residency training in 1998. She has served as a Hospice Medical Director for the Home Nursing Agency in Cambria, Somerset and Indiana Counties. She had also volunteered for Partnering for Health Services in Altoona and for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Ebensburg, where she provided medical care to the uninsured. Her medical interests include providing care to women and children.
Dr. Young and her husband John, who works in the Real Estate Industry, reside in Ebensburg. They have three children. Their oldest daughter is married and works as a Physician Assistant. Their other daughter is training to be a Physician Assistant at St. Francis University, where she plays volleyball. Their son is the youngest child and he plays soccer and basketball and takes guitar lessons. Dr. Young spends her free time attending the activities of her children and her two grandchildren.
